Lord, Use my Feet to Walk in the Path You Have Ordered for me.

use_10.12.13

Lord, use my feet to walk in the path You have ordered for me.

Steady my steps with Your Word of promise so nothing malign gets the better of me. ~ Psalm 119:133 MSG

There are times when we walk in the path that God has intended for us. These are times when we see the blessings of God overflow in our lives. Then… there are times when we don’t walk in the path God has for us and this is when we struggle. It is in these times that we seem to wonder why we are suffering and dealing with loss and feel like we are going backwards. It is when we feel like we are disconnected from God. Why? Because we are! Ask God today either to continue or begin to guide your steps within His will so he can protect you at the same time He is using you for His glory.

Brag on God and Say Thank You!

“O give thanks unto the Lord! Call upon His name; make known his deeds among the people!(1 Chronicle16:8-10) No matter what the circumstance give thanks that you have a prayer hearing God, that has unfamthonable love for and that you are more than a conqueror.

Thank God 582582_10151191856596431_1234728255_n

God’s command is “In every thing give thanks”; and the command is emphasized by the declaration, “for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thess. 5:18, KJV). It is an actual positive command. If we want to obey God, we have simply got to give thanks in everything. There is no getting around it.

So Brag on the King of Kings and the one who loves you unconditionally. Brag on God this month and really everyday give thanks to the Lord. Whatever you can say about Him -Tell Him how He is better than that….. Give a word of thanks and/ or praise.

“Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men! Ps. 107:21

Praise_Him[1]

“And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and rehearse His deeds with shouts of joy and singing! Ps 107:22.

Sometimes we are so busy looking at our problems or situations and what is wrong in the world and our lives, we forget to remember to be thankful. The people of Israel demonstrated this time and time again. How many times God delivered Israel and protected them time and time again and they would forget His deliverance and blessings and complain. Jesus also illustrates this in the story of the 10 lepers (Lk 17:11-19). God answered a prayer and only the Samaritan returned to give thanks, for he knew what it was like to be cut off from God’s blessings and fellowship.

thank you394943_10151199484296431_220284568_n

Brag on God with thanksgiving and Praise. What are you specifically thankful for?
Thank Him for all He has done!

Ephesians 5:20 – Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This week each day I challenge each of us to brag on God and specifically think about, and thank the Lover of Your soul for all His blessings to you. Then open your mouth with the sacrifice of praise and Tell God and others how thankful and grateful you are. Below is an example of how each day we can Brag on God and give Him thanks.

Day 18- Brag on God and be Grateful. Tell Him how grateful and thankful you are.

Walter Hawkins Lyrics from Be Grateful
(Be-e-e-e-e-e Grateful) Grateful
(Be-e-e-e-e-e Grateful) Be Grateful
Because there’s someone else who’s worse off than you
Be Grateful (Be Grateful)
Because there’s someone else who’d love to be in your shoes
Be Grateful ( Be Grateful)
Oh yeah!
My God said he’d never, never foresake you!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful)oh yeah!
God said he would, he would never, never forsake you!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful)oh yeah!
Be Grateful Hallelujah!
Oh! Be Grateful
The Lord is the light!

Be Grateful (Be Grateful)Yeah, Yeah
Be Grateful
For everything you got!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful)Yeah, Yeah

Day 19 – Brag on God– Think thankfully. How has God been so good to you? – Thankfully count the ways and say it , TELL it, and post it below.

– O give thanks unto the Lord! Call upon His name; make known his deeds among the people!(1 Chronicle16:8-10)

Day 20 Brag on God and “Think Thankfully”. How many specific thank you’s can you give Him for all His blessings , benefits, and love? Post some of them.

I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and TALK of thy doings. Psalm 77:11-12

Day 21– Brag on God. Praise Him for His mighty works. Thank Him for everything He has done and DOES for you on a daily basis even in the midst of our mess ups.

It is good to remember that the tea kettle although up to its neck in hot water, continues to sing. ( God’s Instruction Book)

Rejoice evermore… In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18

Day 22 Brag on God. Praise Him for His mighty works. Thank Him for all His daily benefits. Tell Him as great as you think – He is better than that. See the blessings of your life and Think, Thank and Tell that below and else where.

Some people complain because God put thorns on roses, while others praise Him for putting roses among the thorns.(God’s Instruction Book)

Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true…honest…just…pure…lovely…of good report;if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians.4:8

Day 23 Brag on God and thank Him for his goodness and mercy. Think, thank and tell of His goodness.

I praise you old God for you are a loving God whose very nature is love. (1 John 4:16)

Thank God for His abundant goodness that overflows into our lives.
Thank the Lord that He never slumbers and sleeps and He constantly watches over you. Tell Him …..

When we live everyday with a thankful attitude, our spiritual lives grow, we become more intimate with God and we please the Lord.

Honoring Veterans

VeteransDay-pic-13

I want to take a moment to thank the brave men and women who have served in our nation’s armed forces as we honor veterans on Veteran’s Day. My father, Charlie Fegins, served at Pearl Harbor during World War II and was on the USS New Orleans when the attack occurred. He survived and came home. He was awarded a World War II Victory Medal. .

Last year I remember watching 60 minutes as the show reflected on the heroism of our soldiers. It also exposed the many issues of mental, emotional and physical issues our veterans face ;as well as homelessness. My heart was touched as well as broken. Dr. Rita Nakashima Brock, Ph. D writes about how many veterans have come home “morally injured” and struggle to overcome homelessness, mental issues and other struggles ,which this nation must more effectively address. I prayed at home alone for our soldiers while watching 60 minutes.

Again I thank the men and women soldiers for their service and their sacrifice. Like Senator Carl Levin stated “it’s absolutely essential that we honor our commitment to provide them with the very best care and support available. They’ve fought for us, and we need to keep fighting for them.” Senator Levin further stated “Around the world our troops are carrying out a broad array of challenging and dangerous missions. Wherever they are stationed, our troops and their families deserve our gratitude for their selfless service and their sacrifices”.

veterans honor all wowan

Give thanks to God for our veterans who have served our country and for those on active duty who serve today. To our men and women in harm’s way, our prayers are with you. Take the time to pray for the veterans and their families who suffer physical and mental aliments and those who may be homeless. They face gunfire, explosives and hard conditions we cannot even think about. However, upon returning home they cannot find employment and are homeless. Have mercy. For example, Grace Chapel, 47, a homeless veteran, has been living in Volunteers of America-Greater New York’s first emergency housing center for the past four months. If not for this shelter where would she and others like her, but many more may not get the help they need. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/helping-homeless-veterans-win-battle-article-1.1511476#ixzz2kHPd8eYg . Veteran Nicole Goodwin was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder by the Veterans Administration but was twice denied a disability pension. She applied again but the average wait for an answer is a disgraceful 600 days. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/veterans-day-remember-article-1.1507374. Our country must be more vigilant and compassionate about providing the necessary services for our veterans in a timely and effective manner with all deliberate speed.

Pray for the protection of our soldiers serving around the world and at home in the United States. Pray for our veterans who have come home. Pray as follows:

• Pray for our wounded service members and their families. Pray for mental and emotional healing as well as physical healing. Pray they obtain the necessary medical and other services they need and deserve without procedural obstacles and delays.
Pray for proper housing and shelter for women and men.
• Pray for divine protection and guidance for our armed forces. Ask God to intercede for military chaplains and loved ones at home.
• Pray for discernment and protection from the United States’ enemies that are among us, even as others plot against us from afar.

    Review of the book

Living_Separate_Lives_FINAL_front

Paulette Harper’s christian novella, Living Separate Lives about four girlfriends Tiffany, Candace, Kaylan and Jordan who reconnect years after high school was quite engaging to me. Paulette Harper‘s realistic characters and storytelling were endearing. Each girlfriend is dealing with issues in her life such as rejection, prejudice, unevenly yoked , never reaching your dreams and at least one is still reacting from the hurt of rejection from her childhood that has lead to poor choices in her adult life. The ladies agree to a girlfriend weekend retreat at Kaylan’s home in Napa Valley region of California. However, the weekend does not turn out how the girlfriends planned. When the truth about one of their lives unexpectedly is discovered accidentally ,the impact upon the life of another causes anger, betrayal and further rejection to show its ugly head. Now the girlfriends really need to go before the King to pray, praise and seek the face of the Lord, when one of them is asked to leave the retreat. Can the ladies who profess to be a Christian forgive the perpetrator? How do you reach out to the one that betrayed you when she is in trouble? This novella raises real issues about friendship, forgiveness, your walk of faith in hurting times and wanting to support a friend in the good times and the bad times. It is an excellent minstry tool for the women’s minsitry or for a workshop on forgivenss and forgetting the past.

Domestic Violence – Uncover the Hidden Shame by Dr. De’Andrea Wiggins

end domestisc violence index

High blood pressure is not the only silent, but deadly killer. Domestic violence affects far too many people and far too many families every day. Too often, we do not know about people who are victims of domestic violence until it is too late. It is a hidden shame that is cancerous if not addressed.

It’s challenging because many people hide behind a mask as if all is well, when internally they are screaming to be free. It’s challenging because there is no test to administer, or medication to take, yet there is a prescription. When you notice someone who has been outgoing and social become withdrawn and isolated, investigate further. If you notice someone who normally responds to your text messages and/or phone calls, but only responds during “normal business hours” when they are at school or work, investigate further. As outsiders, there is only so much that can be done if the victim is unwilling to leave or seek assistance; however, nothing is beyond the power of prayer.

How can you help? Prayer is our first line of defense. Pray that God’s will be done. Pray that all negative soul ties are broken. Pray that any areas of vulnerability are filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Pray that by the Holy Spirit, you are shown how to be of greater assistance while protecting the person’s well being.

What else can you do? Mentor a young lady so that she understands her worth and knows not to accept any type of abuse in relationships. Mentor a young man so that he understands what it means to be a “suitor”, a gentleman, and a covering for a woman. Confront societal norms which accept or condone verbal, physical, or sexual abuse. Things will only change if you change. The time to do it is now.

She equips the reader with “The Prayer” that is the premise for her book and shows the reader how to use “the prayer” to strategically pray to protect and bless his or her family. Easy and empowering reading. Lynda Brown’s response to some questions shares how she was led to write this book after she had come under spiritual attack.

Powerful Prayer to Protect & Bless Your Family Book Tour Oct 2013
Interview Questions by Linda Fegins:

Describe yourself for our visitors:
I live in St. Louis MO. I’m divorced and have a 34 year old son, and a beautiful 5 year old grandson. I currently work full time for the local library and I also own Spoken Word Press publishing company and host Author Chat with Lynda D. Brown on blogtalkradio.com on the weekends to help support and promote fellow authors.

How do you find time to connect with God?

Each morning between the hours of 2-3am, I spend time in prayer and ‘command my morning’. I realized how important this was after I purchased a copy of Dr. Cindy Trimm’s Commanding Your Morning book and I also read a passage of scripture before going to bed.

What inspired you to write this book?

I first shared this prayer with a few close friends and co-workers and when they experienced the same blessings and protection that I did, I decided to put it in book.

Who are your favorite authors and why?

I’m a huge fan of Dr. Cindy Trimm, Tananarive Due, Wanda B. Campbell, Shelia E. Lipsey, Victoria Christopher Murray, and Beverly Jenkins. Dr. Cindy Trimm book, Commanding Your Morning taught me how to ‘plant the heavens ‘and tell the universe how I want my day to be. Author Tananarive Due’s books are about the supernatural, and the other authors mention write about life that I can relate to.

Favorite books?

One of my all-time favorite books that I still refer to library patrons and friends looking for a good Christian fiction book is Wanda B. Campbell’s Illusion. It really spoke to me because I have dealt with issues concerning my weight. It made me cry, laugh and shout…great book.

Tell us about your journey to publication.

After living a life involved in the occult, reading tarot cards, creating horoscope charts for clients, chanting, etc., from the age of 16 until 2003, I connected with a Christian friend at work, who finally made me see I was conducting my life in a way that was not pleasing to God. I repented and gave my life back to Him in 2004. I then decided to really get serious and establish a relationship with Jesus, after I read Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. I didn’t understand at the time that the scripture was referring to Christians! I believed that many would benefit from my life in the occult, so in 2006, I wrote and published, Once I Was Lost. In the fall of 2006 I began writing the Invisible Enemies Series, a more in-depth fictional account about spiritual warfare. In 2010, when it was finally ready to be published, I decided to start Spoken Word Press and publish the book myself. In 2011, I published book two in the series, Seed of Satan, and I’m currently working on book three. All my books are available in paperback, eBooks and audio.

Tell us about your current book?

Powerful Prayer to Protect & Bless Your Family is just what the title implies. The prayer that I share in this book is a strategic prayer. It covers the prayer that Jesus taught the disciples in Matthew 6, how to plead the blood of Jesus over your loved ones, how to intercede for others, how to set a guard over your mouth since life and death are in the power of the tongue, how to live a life that’s less of you and more of him, and finally, how to pray for God to become a part of everything you’re involved in, and to enlarge your territory.

How did you come up with ideas for this book?

Since I write about spiritual warfare, I’ve been under some serious attacks. I began researching prayers that would help me ‘fight back.” Too many Christians don’t know how to fight back when the ‘enemy’ goes on the attack. I sought the Holy Spirit to help me include the information in the book that believers needed to have victory in their lives.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

When you pray strategically, you learn how to have victory in your life. This book shows you how to use the spiritual keys of the kingdom and the weapons of our warfare to defeat the enemy and live the abundant life that Jesus died for believers to have. I’m a living witness, because I’m living my dreams by writing and publishing my books, and also being a blessing to others.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month- Say A Prayer

pastor appreciation month leader img_large_watermarked

The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month where members celebrate the work of the men and women who serve as leaders of the flock. One act believers should do is pray for pastors and all those who are spiritual leaders over the fivefold ministry. Pastors and other spiritual leaders need our prayers. It is a biblical principle to pray for pastors and others in spiritual authority over us. ( 1 Timothy 2:1-2) Paul asked the church to pray for Him. (1 Thess 5:25, Col. 4:3) Our prayers for the spiritual leaders enable them to perform the ministry God has called them to serve.

Bishop Eddie Long, Jamal Bryant, and Jack Haygood are all symbols of pastors or ministerial leaders who have fallen or are perceived to have fallen prey to the wiles of the devil and or moral decline.

Without the prayer support pastors are more vulnerable to the wiles of the devil. It is for our own benefit to pray that God will make your pastor a great leader and teacher (See 1 Tim 2:1-4)
One of the most effective ways you can minister to your pastor is to pray for his personal and spiritual needs.

Jonathan Graf a prayer warrior , author ,speaker and teacher on prayer states why pastors are a special target of the enemy. In Pray Magazine July/August 2004 Graf states:

1. A pastor is more accountable to God than the average parishioner. James said that not many should desire to be teachers because they will come under greater judgment (Jas. 3:1). The accuser would like nothing more than to defeat the pastor/teacher and rub his or her nose in it.

2. As the pastor’s spiritual life goes, so goes the congregation. If Satan can keep a pastor defeated and prayerless, most believers in his or her church will not grow spiritually. The prayer level of a church seldom rises above that of the pastor.

3. When a pastor falls, more damage usually is done to the church than when anyone else in the church falls. People look to the pastor as their spiritual leader. Less mature believers are often very confused when someone they look up to spiritually lets them down. They may even fall away from the Lord in the confusion and hurt.

4. The pastor is the most visible member of a church, so more damage is done to the ministry’s reputation in the community when he or she fails. It may affect the ministry of the church for a significant length of time. When scandal hits a church, nonbelievers tend to think there is no power in that religion.

Praying For Your Pastor is very important. They are serving God and the attacks of the enemy are non -ceasing. They must be covered in prayer on a daily basis. Here are a couple of suggestions to encourage your Pastor.
1. Put a picture of your pastor(s) in your church prayer room to remind people to pray.
2. Distribute copies of your pastor’s preaching text to adult Sunday school classes so they can pray for the Word to go forth with power and authority before he preaches.
3. Ask church members to write prayers based on Scriptures and mail them to the pastor as an encouragement.

A Prayer for Your Pastor.

robe pastorimages

Wayne Dillard posted this prayer to pray for pastors and asked if you would share it with your pastor. He would like to bless your pastor. This is a prayer he would pray over the pastor if he had the opportunity to do so to enable the pastor to walk in all the grace God has for them.
.

Pastor, as a servant of the Lord Jesus, I extend a blessing to you today in His name. I bless you today in the power of Christ’s resurrection, with the courage of His dying, and the strength of His rising. With the revelation of the Holy Spirit released to you through His ascending, and the grace imparted to you through His atonement.

May you stand today in the firm knowledge of His everlasting love for you, and experience in the depths of your soul the never-ending peace He has purchased for you. May you hear clearly what He speaks to you today, and may His words stir an overcoming faith in your heart.

May you walk in the center of the path He lays before you without fear, and with the conviction to move mountains that stand in your way. May you inspire those around you to seek out the God you serve, and find the rest you have found in His arms.

May you be blessed as you rise up and as you lie down. May your day be filled with the sweetness of serving others, and your nights bring dreams and revelation of the God who loves you.

I bless you today with all that Christ has purchased for you. With forgiveness of sins, and freedom from guilt, with the Sabbath rest that frees you from religion. With the truth He revealed to set you free and the faith he imparts to empower your life, and ministry

I bless you today in the resurrection power of Christ, with the courage of His dying, and strength of His rising. May you walk unafraid, rise above the struggles of this earthly life, and move in power from your position in the heavenlies where you are seated with Him. And may His name be glorified today through your life, and the Body of Christ be blessed through your service.

Blessings,Wayne Dillard

Ways to Empower and Release Children to Pray

EMPOWER CHILDREN to PRAY

child praying hands 1185358_546245358779850_766983572_n

During the first week of September articles have urged us to unite and daily pray for our children Prayer points for school children/teens, teachers, administrators and parents have been posted.See for example https://ladyofprayer.com/?p=1404

Let’s empower the children and teens to pray. Young people need to be nurtured in prayer at home. There are practical ways to train and equip children to pray. Start now teaching them to pray. As parents you should be modeling the life of parents for them. Kim Butts is the author of The Praying Family (Moody c 2002) provides very practical steps to teaching your child to pray.

Prayer Action-Teach and let the children pray.:
Prayer principles:
1. Kids prayers are as important as adults. Let children know and see that God has an important work for them to do in prayer. He wants their prayers.Let them know that they can pray anytime, anywhere and about anything.

2.Telling God the truth- Teach children the importance of confessing sin with repentant hearts so their prayers will not be hindered.

3. Worship and adore God- Teach children the delight of honoring God and wanting to be in God’s presence.

4. God is faithful and will answer their prayers- Teach children to pray in Jesus’ name and ask according to His will. Let them know answers may not be what they want, but the answers will always be what ‘s best for them /us.

5. Pray for the things that are on God’s heart.-Teach children to read and pray through God’s Word. It is a powerful way to begin learning what is on God’s heart.

Prayer Action: Ways to Get Kids Involved in Corporate Prayer
Kids can learn to pray like adults.

Kim Butts author of The Praying Family gives these suggestions.

1. Invite kids to become prayer missionaries. Give them information about the missionaries the church supports or a missionary . Then allow the kids to pray for them.

2. Have the kids pray for the pastor and worship leaders before a meeting or worship service.

3. Match a child intercessor with an adult intercessor and ask the pair to pray before , during or following the worship service.

4. Make the church prayer meetings family friendly and intergenerational.

5. Give them a simple prayer assignments each week. Ask them to pray for you .

mother teach child to pray556558_548097768594609_953328274_n

Prayer action Steps:
1. Give kids special prayer assignments. Give them an assignment to pray for the neighbors, a sick person, their school, for children in different countries. Ask for them to pray about certain events they may hear about.

2.Put maps on the wall and teach children to pray for unreached people groups and the children of the world.

3. Encourage children to pray at home, praying before leaving for school, day care, or to spend the day with a babysitter, can help children of all ages start the day off right. This is a great time to pray for teachers, friends, and for help with classes or peer relationships.
4. Five Finger Prayer
This game was recommended by Children’s Pastor Julie Scheibe, who says that young children are accustomed to learning through games that help them remember facts and concepts. To do the Five Finger Prayer, have the kids hold their hands together in prayer, using each finger as a guide:
• Thumb: Say a prayer for those closest to you.
• Pointer: Say a prayer for school teachers and Sunday School teachers.
• Middle: Say a prayer for the president.
• Ring: Say a prayer for the sick.
• Pinky: Say a prayer for yourself.
• CTS Prayer for children

5. Start a prayer group that meets regularly to teach about and practice prayer. This is a way to train older children and teens.

Back 2 School Prayers –Part III-Prayer Sheet for our School Children

On September 9, 2013 Minister Teraleen Campbell called for a prayer conference call to pray for our children which included babies through 6th grade, middle school children, high school students and college students. We also prayed for parents. I was assigned to pray for high school students. It was powerful .

Children and Teens
Prayer Points
• Daily pray for the safety of our children and that God will deliver them from evil and thwart every scheme of the enemy. Lord we pray that you cover the children and youth through the blood and “stay the hand of violence against the children and staff of the school. Dismantle any plan to bring harm to them. Expose any weapon brought on the school premises and render it harmless”.( from Power-Packed Prayers for Public Schools by Ida Rose Heckard)

• Pray that our children will be open to learning new knowledge and that God would give them the wisdom to know how to understand and use that knowledge. We need to pray that our children have the ability to discriminate between good knowledge and bad knowledge. Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older he will remain upon it. (Proverbs 22:6) See remainder of specific prayer points on this link https://www.facebook.com/PrayActWriteRight and https://ladyofprayer.com/?p=1404

Back 2 School Prayers Part II: Prayers for Teachers and Adminstrators

back to school prayers imagesCA9SWSQH

Yesterday September 3, 2013 I called for Back 2 School United Prayers for our children and the schools they attend and posted about 10 specific prayer points for our school children.https://ladyofprayer.com/?p=1404 >

We need to continually uplift the entire educational system and all those involved in it which includes our teachers and administrators. We need teachers who are committed to effectively teaching our children. There is no doubt there are some committed excellent teachers. Schools must be safe for teachers as well as students. In 2011 a student hit a teacher in the back with a stapler, hid in a closet and started hitting the teacher in the chest when the teacher opened the closet door.

On the other hand we must guard against negative attitudes of teachers that adversly affects how and what they teach children. We cannot tolerate teachers such as Jennifer O’ Brien who made negative remarks about a group of largely Black and Hispanic first graders when she complained that she was a “warden for future criminal’s”. Our children are worthy of respect and are entitled to the best education they can possibly obtain in a positive and nurturing enviroment.

The prayer of agreement is powerful and we must join our voices and hearts to consitently pray for those involved in educating our children. Below are specific prayer points to pray for our teachers and adminstrators. https://www.facebook.com/PrayActWriteRight

Teachers
Pray:
• Pray for our school teachers to have the wisdom needed to effectively impart knowledge to their students. A wise teacher makes learning a joy… (Proverbs 15:2a)
• Pray for our school teachers that God will give them the grace to deal with day-to-day frustrations and problems.
• Pray that our school teachers would exhibit the life of Christ before our children. That they would be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness.
• Pray for the one in charge of the screening and hiring of teachers, and pray that he/she recruits effective teachers with integrity and a true heart for teaching children for our schools. ( See Matthew 9:38)
• Ask God to rise up Godly educators who are dedicated to their field and can capture the hearts and minds of our nation’s youth on each level of education. (Colossians 1:9-10)
• Pray our educators will pray unceasingly for guidance and wisdom to become the examples to their students. (I Peter 2:21) Pray they will know how to pray for their students.
• Pray that teachers will impart godly wisdom to form godly character in their students. (Luke 6:40)

Administrators
• Pray for the standard of excellence to be restored in our educational institutes and that our educators will pass on that spirit of excellence, requiring excellence, rather than sloth and ignorance. (Ecclesiastes 2:13-14)
• Pray for the needed tools and proper facilities to teach our children.(Philippians 4:19)
• Pray for the election of godly leaders on our school boards and in the administration of our schools. (I Timothy 2:1)
• Pray for the support staff in the schools to treat the children with dignity and respect.
( Many prayer points for teachers and adminstrators were adopted from From Power-Packed Prayers for Public Schools by Ida Rose Heckard)
