DAY 26 – March 9 Seek God’s Face to Inquire of Him
40 Day Prayer Journey to Life Transformation
(See prior posts for earlier days)

We have been on this repentance and prayer journey for 26 days. Have you been are you been challenged to repent and to step out of your comfort zone into a renewed relationship with the Lord. If you just joined us that is wonderful just get started right where you are.
In these 26 Days of this 40 Day Prayer Journey to Life Transformation , we have prayed and repented about our relationships with God, family and the church. Now let’s go before the Lord to ask Him what He wants you to do. This mean we should intentionally seek God’s heart and voice in everything we do. God wants us to seek Him first and He delights in communicating with you- each one of us. Inquire of the Lord for understanding, clarification, instructions and directions under the authority of the Word of God. Listen. Hear. Obey. The Word of God and revelation from the Holy Spirit will lead us toward life transformation and healing.

Scriptures: Matthew 6: 33; Jeremiah 10:21 (AMP); 2 Samuel 21:1 (NKJV); 2 Samuel 2: 1; 1 Chronicles 15:13-14; John 5:19-20

Repent: Of not inquiring of the Lord first and doing what we want yet claim to be guided by Him; of ceasing to ask the Lord what He wants of you or asking Him about spiritual issues that need to be resolved in our lives.

Meditate, pray and write down other areas for which you need to repent.

Pray:

• Worship the Lord for His amazing heart that invites us into His presence in Jesus’ name into intimate consultation with Him.
• Thank the Lord that in the name of Jesus you are welcome in His presence.
• Confess to the Lord the ways you have neglected to inquire of Him, yet claim to speak for Him or in doing what He told you do.
• Ask the Lord to show you how to spend intimate time in His presence and to grow in the ability to hear Him and know His voice.
• Thank the Lord for wisdom and direction.
• Pray that God will reveal His plan and purposes for you and for your city to those who have a heart willing to listen.
• Ask God for specific answers and then pray for courage to wait for Him to answer.
• Pray that pastors and ministry leaders will inquire of the Lord individually and corporately for the church and our city.
