Victory Doesn’t Happen By Accident

DAY 15 – February 24th – Victory Doesn’t Happen By Accident

Scriptures: Psalm 20; Deuteronomy 28:1-2

Victory does not happen by accident.”

Victory can only happen with tenacious training, scrupulous strategy and persistent practice. We do not stumble into victory, we battle our way to victory. “You want to be a prayer warrior. Declare it and then do the necessary workpray-fight-win. We are warriors, prayer warriors—the most lethal and feared warriors in God’s army. Satan shutters when we start to pray; he flees as the name of Jesus rolls off our lips.

If you want victory to come to your life, your church, your family, your community and nation then you have to be deliberate in prayer. Prayer is a habit, not happenstance. There is no such thing as a coincidence.

Write down the answers to the following questions: What does victory look like? Where do you need to advance and from which direction? Who is your enemy and how does your enemy fight? How will you know when the battle is won—when the prayer is answered?

You have already identified 1–3 areas that need a prayer strategy; now write down your specific requests, characteristics, changes, etc. that will define what “victory” will look like in each of those areas. God may change your heart or definition of success along the way, but as you pour out the desires of your heart for the areas that need God’s triumphal touch, and write down what victory looks like so you will know when it is time to celebrate (Ps. 20). *(Kathy Branzell)

victory prayer brings_MG_2185

  • Pray to God about the areas in which you struggle and in which you need to have victory.
  • Pray for women and children to be delivered from the evils of human trafficking.
  • Pray for the elderly for their protection for elderly abuse and health.
  • Pray for care givers for rest and their health as they care for others.
  • For unity among churches and that there will be an increase in participation of true corporate prayer and seek to gather together for corporate prayer as well as to open our mouths to praise and pray to the Lord in unity.
  • For a fresh passion for worship among the believers and that the walls of division created by   denominations, personal preferences and styles which do not honor God be torn down.
    • Fathers: that fathers will look to God as the ultimate spiritual head of their household, serving and caring for their families; that God will instill a vision for wholesome, supportive fatherhood among the fathers of the city. Pray that absentee fathers would change their lifestyles to nurture their wives and children. Pray that children will see the character of the heavenly Father in the lives of their dads.

Conversations of a Watchman: Prayers to Frame your Prophetic Destiny

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and
will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer
when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1 (KJV

About the Book
How does a person move from a place deficient of light? How can an individual shift from a place of complete and utter chaos, obscurity, apathy, and adversity? The pathway to transformation is through in-depth conversations with the One True God of Creation–El•ō•hēm’. For you to move to a place of prophetic providence, your conversation must be divinely inspired. Hebrews 11:3 states: “The worlds were framed by the Word of God.” Framing begins with an idea, expands as a result of the imagination, and gives life through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through divine utterance for a specific purpose. Declaring the Word of God releases the creative power of God for authentic transformation.
K. E. Allen designed this book to draw you into a deeper conversation with the Father to renew your prayer life, mend your brokenness, enlighten your pathway, and arrange your chaos according to the divine order of God. This resource will help you exercise your kingly and priestly authority and impose kingdom mandates to release God’s original intent in your life, family, community, city, region, and nation. It will encourage you to frame your prophetic destiny.

She is a dynamic leader, extravagant worshiper and prophetic intercessor whose worship has become a definitive lifestyle that penetrates and permeates every facet of her life and the lives of those she touches. Karla is a leader to leaders and lives a life of committed consistent intercession, giving selflessly of herself in her prayer closet. For over 20 years, as a student and teacher of the Word and woman of faith, she implements the truth of the Bible through the dynamics of intercession and worship that releases a tangible anointing. Knowing firsthand the transformative power of God in her own life, she is determined to see others healed, delivered and set free. Karla will stop at nothing to see God move in the lives of His people!

Book Review by Linda Fegins

As an intercessor and prayer leader for many years, I found Minister Karla Allen’s
Conversations of a Watchman, biblically sound, empowering and full of strategic Holy Ghost filled revelatory prayer principles and strategies. This powerful book blessed me. If you want to grow in your prayer life and see results, it lovingly challenges you to do so. If you seek to grow to a deeper level of prayer and feel the Lord‘s call this book will challenge, assist, and stir you to go deeper to pray bigger and more effectively by developing a deeper dimension of conversational intimacy with God and praying the heart and mind of God. One of Allen’s purposes in writing the book is to strengthen and renew your prayer life and to enable you to experience maximum transforming results in your life and in the world.
The workbook characteristics in the book equips and challenges you to frame your world according to God’s Word and design and provides practical exercises for the reader to apply. Allen teaches not only what one should pray, but how to pray by showing excellent spirit filled examples of personal and corporate prayers. The book can serve as a great guide if you want to learn how to use the Word of God to release the creative power of God in your life to transform your life. Further, the book serves as a resource for intercessory and prayer ministries and leaders. One just cannot read this book. One must meditate on it, until one can digest its life transforming prayer principles, power and prayer strategies, and then put what you have received into action.

Praying for the Ministry and Business of Minetta Hare- Remember Lydia -a Christian Entrepreneur Acts 16: 13-15, 40

I praise you , Creator God for making men and women in Your own image. Give creativity and good ideas to Your children who serve you in the marketplace. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, granting them the skills, abilities and knowledge needed to accomplish their tasks and goals and to glorify You. (Gen 1:27; Ex 21:3) Give them decisionmaking wisdom. God give Christians in the marketplace a spirit of wisdom and revelation so they can know and follow you in their work.( Eph 1:17; Prov 3:5-6; Is 30:21). God you hold the hearts of kings in Your hands. We ask that our Christian borthers and sisters in the workplace will find favor with key people. (Dan1:9; Eccl 4: 9-12) Grant them favor and may marketplace believers pursue excellence to your Glory. ( Prov 21:1; Phil 4:8) ( excerpt from Strategic Prayers for Marketplace Influencers by Arlyn Lawrence)

5 AM Praying with My Girlfriends’ Business. Chief Girlfriend and visionary Jillian Blackwell, and the women on the prayer call, for the month of August are praying for a girlfriend’s business or ministry each day. Since January 2011,daily women consistently join the 5 AM prayer call every morning all over the nation,- New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, etc to seek the Lord ,to pray for others, themselves and for their girlfriends’ business.

Many believers are business owners or have key positions in business. Christians in the workplace and business owners should have a practical and spiritual influence in the community. In the bible Lydia was a business woman who was a seller of purple dye and an influential women. While Lydia, who worshipped the one God of the Jews, and a group of others were praying by the riverside, they encountered Paul and Silas. Paul related to them the Gospel. Lydia opened her ears and heart and became the first Christian convert . She was baptized and then her household. She became a Christian and a marketplace influencer. The Bible states that she urged Paul to abide in her home and opened her home to Christian missionaries. She opened her doors when Paul and Silas came out of prison for healing a demented girl to her right mind. Acts 16:16 While serving Christians it seems that Lydia continued to carry on her business.

Believers should pray for entrepreneurs. Look at how businesses affect our economy and the workplace. We want God to move powerfully in the lives of business owners who operate in integrity and excellence. For example, on August 9, 2011, (yesterday) we prayed for Missionary/Evangelist Minetta Hare -a global focused woman, who empowers women in prayer, training, coaching, global missions and in global entrepreneurship. Her ministry is Faith At Work Ministries and one of her businesses is the Hare Group International. Minetta is the founder and visionary of Lydia Circle for Christian Business and Professional Women, Faith At Work Ministries and Men of Valor. She is a global woman that has a hands on ministry for serving woman and men in time of need and as they rise in their ministry or business with love, prayer, wisdom, frankness, compassion and the gift of hospitality. She does missions and business globally and has served in South Africa ( over 12 mission trips), Ghana, Israel, Jamaica and etc.

Join us in praying for her specific prayer requests and for what the Holy Spirit places in your heart. You may be led to partner with her or to contact her. Minetta’s ministry and one of her businesses and the specific prayer requests are as follows:

Faith At Work Ministries
Preparing, Training, Equipping & Mobilizing Laborers & Servant Leaders for
God’s Harvest Field, the World
Matthew 28:18-20, Isaiah 61:1-3, 2 Timothy 2:2 describe what we believe God has called us to do –make disciples of all nations by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through many means – economic empowerment and business development, trade missions, entrepreneurial training, medical outreaches, building schools and medical facilities, or one-on-one sharing the gospel. The greatest mission field today is the marketplace. Jesus recruited His disciples, who had occupations and professions as fishermen and tax collector from the marketplace. This probably sounds like more than any one ministry can do- and it is! Because of this, God has brought together a team of dedicated men and women to work with us to carry out this vision which is really HIS VISION.
