Lord, use my reaction to my circumstances to show I put my trust in You.
The ways of God are without fault; The Lord’s words are pure. He is a shield to those who trust Him. ~ 2 Samuel 22:31 NCV
Have you ever overreacted to something? Perhaps you misheard something and reacted on what you thought you heard. Or possibly, you saw something and reacted based on what you ‘thought’ you saw. Overreaction is normal in humans as we tend to lean on our senses to tell us the truth. However, when you overreact to something, you are essentially saying that you don’t trust the situation to work out or end up in the way you ‘thought’ it should. It’s times like these that we need to remember that in every situation, God is in control and as His children, all circumstances are working out for our good. He loves us and is making sure our needs are taken care of on a daily basis. Ask God today how He can use you to show others how to trust Him with each and every reaction to the daily happenings in our life.
